Chime Card Declined Even With Money In Account

Your transactions can decline when you exceed your Chime Checking Account’s spending or withdrawal limit. You can spend up to $2,500 per day using your Chime Visa Debit Card, and you can withdraw up to $500 at the ATM each day (out-of-network fees may apply).

If your Chime card has been declined even though sufficient money is in your account, then this means your bank issuer has locked your card. Often, this will occur if you enter an incorrect PIN at an ATM too many times or you try to make a charge larger than usual.

A declined card by your issuer or Chime Bank is mainly from not approving the transaction for frozen account status or insufficient funds or invalid expiration date or the number of your credit card.

As a security measure, you will lock your card to make sure you authorized the transaction and help prevent fraud to your account.

When your card has been declined, you will need to contact customer service support to correct the issue. To get in touch with a Chime team member, contact Chime Support at 844-244-6363.
