Immediately contact the Direct Express Customer Service Department if you have lost or stolen your card. Then a representative of the customer service will assist you in sending a new replacement card to you.
Card replacement is free once per annum and at $4.00 after that. Your lost or stolen Direct Express card will immediately be canceled, so if someone finds it, they will not be able to use it.
Once your new Direct Express Mastercard Credit card has been approved or getting a replacement card, you will normally receive the card by first class mail within 7-14 days.
Let the customer service representative know if you need to have a new card sooner. And if you need your Direct Express card sent to you by expedited shipping, then request Direct Express to ship it with FedEx or UPS.
Expedited delivery of replacement card is $13.50. The replacement cost of your new card will be deducted from your Direct Express account. If you request expedited shipping, customer service will provide you with tracking information.
Direct Express expedited shipping will vary and depends on how far it is going and some other conditions according to the shipment. Some Direct Express card shipments can be delivered in as little as 1-2 days, depending on the shipping method and distance. Others may take longer. The time depends on the need of the customer and the availability of an expedited carrier.
