Are you looking to sign up for a convenient debit card? If so, RushCard is an option for you.
Their prepaid debit card can be used online and in stores. Anywhere VISA is accepted, your prepaid debit card is too.
While RushCard claims to provide great service and faster payments for their customers, many reviews would disagree. Why? Read on to find out more. I will reference all the complaints and reviews I found.

What Services Does A RushCard Account Provide?
When you sign up for a RushCard account, you will have access to their prepaid debit card. Once this card is mailed to you, you can use it just like a debit or credit card.
You can make purchases online, at stores, pay bills, set up recurring payments, or collect your salary or payments through your RushCard account.
RushCard has two different plans you can choose when you sign up for an account. The plan you choose will affect the fees you pay for different transactions. (See the list of fees below.)
What Bank Is RushCard Associated With?
RushCard is not considered a traditional bank. Their parent company Unirush is a financial technology company.
To provide their security features and be accepted at businesses, Rushcard has partnered with other financial companies.
RushCard is partnered with MetaBank. MetaBank is a member of the FDIC which allows them FDIC protection and a license from VISA U.S.A. Inc.
What Are The Fees Involved?
The fees will depend on the plan you choose, the Rush Unlimited Plan or the Rush Pay As You Go Plan.
The Rush Unlimited Plan includes the following fees:

How Do I Qualify For A RushCard Account?
To qualify for a RushCard, you need to provide documentation that supports your residence, citizenship, and personal information.
Prepare to have the following:
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Have a valid SSN.
- Be 13 years or older (must have parents’ consent if you are under 18)
- Provide your
- Date of birth
- Address
- Email Address
- Copy of your driver’s license (or another document that verifies your identity)
How Long Does It Take To Be Approved?
It should take around 5-7 business days for your RushCard application to be reviewed and approved. Once you are approved you will be notified and asked to choose a pin for your card. You will then need to wait for your prepaid debit card to be mailed to you.
*Make sure the address you submitted is the correct address that you currently reside at, your RushCard prepaid debit will be mailed to the address you submitted.
Does RushCard Do A Credit Check?
No, one of the perks with RushCard is that you do not need a credit score check to apply. Your credit will not be affected or verified when you apply for a RushCard.

You can call (866) 787-4227, or you can visit https://www.rushcard.com/contact-us to contact RushCard online or get the information you will need to mail them.
You can also contact RushCard through email.
Is RushCards Customer Service Good?
RushCard is not known for their customer service. Unfortunately, many sites that rate businesses and collect reviews rate RushCard from ⅕ starts to 2.5/5 starts. By no means a great rating.
